Our High Performance Programs are designed for players currently playing Rep Hockey/Ringette or preparing to tryout for Rep. The Programs encompass Power Skating as well as Skill Development.
Primary focus in skating will be on proper movement to increase player speed and agility. BHOH Pro-Coaches will cover formal and corrective instruction proper balance and weight transfer, elongated strides and leg recovery to speed, open hips, inside/outside edges, pivots and transitions, power starts, explosive maneuvers, stopping, cross-overs both forwards and backwards.
Primary focus in skills will be on proper shooting techniques, weight transfer, utilizing stick flex, puck/ring protection, proper hand placement and body positioning.
High Performance Programs are run in Camps and Clinics. However, we do offer specialized training through Private Lessons or Small Group Lessons.
